Shinto Ceremony for “Donald McDonald House Todai”

A Shinto Ceremony to purify the building site and offer prayers was held for the 8th Donald McDonald House in Japan on March 3, 2011. The ceremony was attended by Donell Bullock from RMHC Global in Chicago, USA who prayed for the safety of the construction work with representatives of the Donald McDonald House Charities Japan, the University of Tokyo Hospital, a design office and a construction company.

The Donald McDonald House Todai is scheduled to open in December 2011.
The 4-story House building will have an office on the 1st floor, 12 bedrooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors, and shared spaces including a kitchen and a dining room on the 4th floor.
